Legaline launches UAE’s first AI-native legal services platform
A new Dubai-based LegalTech platform, Legaline, has officially launched, positioning itself as the UAE’s first full-cycle, AI-native legal services platform designed to streamline legal workflows across the country’s highly complex regulatory landscape.
Developed in Dubai, Legaline integrates advanced machine learning and neural-network systems into a proprietary AI stack built entirely in-house. The platform brings together multiple legal functions into a single ecosystem, including AI-powered research tools, automated document drafting, multilingual communication, in-chat signing, and secure payment processing.
Built for the UAE’s fragmented legal system
The launch addresses a longstanding challenge in the UAE’s legal sector, which spans federal laws, emirate-level regulations, financial free zones such as the Dubai International Financial Centre and Abu Dhabi Global Market, as well as more than 40 additional free zones.
Unlike global legal platforms adapted for Western jurisdictions, Legaline has been purpose-built for the UAE, with a curated legal corpus covering over 60,000 indexed passages across 33 jurisdictions, including federal decree-laws, regulatory frameworks, and free zone rules.
End-to-end legal workflow in one platform
Legaline operates through a fully integrated workflow, allowing clients to:
- Post legal tasks with a defined budget
- Receive bids from licensed lawyers via a closed auction system
- Negotiate, sign agreements, and communicate within a single chat interface
- Release payments only upon successful delivery of services
The platform also supports real-time translation in English, Arabic, and Russian, enhancing accessibility in a multilingual business environment.
AI-driven differentiation
The company emphasises that its AI infrastructure is entirely developed in-house, including retrieval systems, citation verification layers, and UAE-specific training models. While third-party foundation models may be used, they are embedded within Legaline’s proprietary architecture rather than forming the core product.
Founder and CEO Dmitry Grinik stated that the platform is designed to democratise access to high-level legal capabilities, enabling solo practitioners and mid-sized firms to operate with tools comparable to large international law firms.
Growing demand for digital legal solutions
The launch comes amid strong growth in the UAE’s legal sector, projected to expand from $5 billion in 2024 to $7.6 billion by 2030, driven by increasing regulatory complexity and demand for efficient legal services.
Legaline aims to capitalise on this growth by offering a solution tailored to SMEs, advisory firms, and independent legal professionals, rather than enterprise-only clients.
Expansion plans and partner onboarding
The platform has opened registrations for UAE-licensed lawyers, with a founding partners programme offering early adopters permanent free access. A global expansion plan is also underway, with 144 founding member slots planned as Legaline prepares to scale regionally.
By combining AI automation, local legal expertise, and an integrated service model, Legaline seeks to redefine how legal services are delivered in the UAE—making them more accessible, efficient, and aligned with the region’s evolving business environment.
