Huawei Network Summit 2024 (Middle East and Central Asia): Huawei Launches Xinghe Intelligent Network to Accelerate Digital-Intelligent Development in the Middle East and Central Asia

Huawei, a global leader in technology and innovation, recently convened the Middle East and Central Asia leg of its Network Summit 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The summit attracted over 1,000 thought leaders, industry experts, and ecosystem partners, gathering to explore the evolving landscape of intelligent networks in the modern era.

During the summit, Huawei introduced its groundbreaking Xinghe Intelligent Network products and solutions, focusing on key areas such as campus networks, wide area networks (WANs), data center networks (DCNs), and network security. These offerings aim to equip customers with the tools and insights needed to capitalize on emerging opportunities and maximize digital-intelligent productivity.

In his keynote address, Yang Chaobin, Director and President of ICT Products & Solutions at Huawei, underscored the company's commitment to innovation and collaboration. He emphasized Huawei's dedication to building Net5.5G-based network infrastructure capable of powering industries with intelligence, urging stakeholders to join hands in advancing towards an intelligent world.

Leon Wang, President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, elaborated on the company's vision, highlighting the evolution of networks towards intelligence. He announced the launch of more than ten innovative Xinghe Intelligent Network products and solutions tailored to various scenarios, including Wi-Fi 7, high-density data center switches, routers, intelligent converged gateways, and network management applications.

Huawei also unveiled nine industry-specific solutions and flagship distribution products targeting sectors such as public services, finance, electric power, and education. These initiatives reaffirm Huawei's commitment to serving commercial and small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) markets, with plans to provide 73 distribution products for markets outside China by the end of 2024.

The summit featured insights from industry experts, including Bruno Tomas, CTO at the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), who praised Huawei's Wi-Fi 7 products for their cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, Huawei launched the "Imagine Wi-Fi 7" program, encouraging tech enthusiasts to envision innovative Wi-Fi 7 applications and showcasing successful contributors.

Addressing the challenges of the AI model era, Huawei and Ankabut jointly released a cloud data center showcase aimed at promoting digital transformation in the education industry in the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, Huawei announced the Xinghe Intelligent SASE experience program to address the pressing need for network security upgrades in the region.

As part of its commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, Huawei announced upgrades to its IP Club member program, offering enhanced benefits to members in the Middle East and Central Asia. Members gain access to cutting-edge technological innovations, industry insights, and networking opportunities with top experts.
