Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Issues Statement on the 20th Anniversary of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Accession
Hala Badri, Director General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), has stated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, assuming leadership of the emirate.
Hala Badri emphasized that January 4th marks a national milestone, offering an opportunity to reflect on Dubai’s remarkable progress and the far-reaching impact of His Highness’s visionary leadership.
“January 4 represents a milestone and an opportunity to reflect on Dubai's journey full of achievements and the qualitative leaps it has made thanks to the approach of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai—may God protect him—and his unique visions that have made the emirate an incubator of cultural diversity, a center of creativity, and a preferred destination to live, work, and visit,” Badri said.
She added that the 20th anniversary of His Highness’s accession is a moment to renew loyalty to an inspiring leader whose vision continues to shape Dubai’s exceptional growth.
“This anniversary represents an important national occasion in which we renew our allegiance to an inspiring leader who believes in excellence and innovation, and in achieving first place in all fields. His Highness has presented an exceptional model and a unique school of leadership and pioneering, based on investing in people, creating the leaders of tomorrow, and anticipating the future,” she noted.
Hala Badri also highlighted His Highness’s leadership approach, which has laid the foundations for Dubai’s dynamic development and global standing.
“Through his leadership approach, His Highness was able to establish a distinguished work system based on efficiency and flexibility. With his visionary thinking, he succeeded in inspiring young people, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators, motivating them to transform their ideas into achievements and their ambitions into tangible reality,” she said.
Badri concluded by reaffirming that Dubai’s cultural strength and creative dynamism stem from Sheikh Mohammed’s belief in the power of talent, innovation, and diversity.
“This has contributed to consolidating Dubai's position and presence on the global map, thanks to the opportunities it provides, its economic strengths, its distinctive cultural environment, and its unique legislation and facilities, which have made it a global center for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a meeting place for talents,” she added.
