Fujairah Hospital Recognizes Outstanding Employees and Partners at Annual Awards Ceremony
Fujairah Hospital, part of Emirates Health Services (EHS), hosted its annual awards ceremony on December 28, 2024, celebrating the exceptional contributions of employees and partners who have played a pivotal role in the hospital's success. The event highlighted key achievements, including the successful execution of the ‘Zero Government Bureaucracy’ initiatives that have revolutionized the hospital’s administrative and healthcare services.
Dr. Ahmed Al Khadeim, Director of Fujairah Hospital, praised the efforts of both the staff and partners for their work in executing ambitious projects aimed at enhancing customer experience and improving operational efficiency. He shared that the ‘Zero Government Bureaucracy’ initiatives led to the elimination of over 30 procedures, saving more than 30 million minutes in processing time and reducing approximately 150,000 visits. These changes also contributed to a remarkable 99% customer satisfaction rate and a reduction of 180 million kilograms in annual carbon emissions.
One of the year's most notable accomplishments, according to Dr. Al Khadeim, was the hospital’s receipt of its second Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, alongside prestigious recognitions like the IHF World Hospital Congress Award and the ISO Quality Certificate for Integrated Management Systems. Fujairah Hospital also made significant progress in adhering to the standards of the Global Star Rating System for Services, aiming for a 5-star rating in the next evaluation.
The ceremony also honored exceptional employees and teams who contributed to the success of the ‘Zero Government Bureaucracy’ initiatives. The event underscored the hospital’s commitment to innovation and empowering its staff, encouraging them to engage in projects that improve government procedures and service efficiency.
Fujairah Hospital urged its partners to continue collaborating and aligning their efforts to advance these initiatives, which are in line with the UAE’s strategic goals, including the ‘We the UAE 2031’ Vision and the UAE Centennial 2071.
