Families flock to Etisalat Festive Park to join DSFs Journey of Celebrations

Residents and visitors from around the world have gone into celebration mode in Dubai since the start of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) on 1 January, and with a line-up of over 150 citywide events on its agenda, the 20th milestone edition of DSF is driving the excitement to new heights .

In addition to all the fun-filled attractions that are engaging visitors and families in various parts of the city, the Etisalat Festive Park in Zabeel Park is turning out to be a wonderful family extravaganza. The concept is a new initiative organized in collaboration with Etisalat, one of the Strategic Partners of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). The joint initiative also represents DFREs and Etisalats strong commitment to reinforce Dubais position as a top family tourism destination by creating a lively atmosphere for families to celebrate together.

A key attraction at Etisalat Festive Park is the Etisalat Zone, which gives every member of the family the chance to take home unforgettable memories. The Etisalat stand will be set up behind the DSF stage offering several service and product information kiosks for customers as well as seating areas.

Other activities to watch out for at the Etisalat Festive Park on the weekends include a Kids Magic Show, Football Freestylers Show, Magician Show, African Drummers Show and Jugglers Show, to name a few. Further, face painting and balloon bending activities are other exciting treats for the young park-goers.

The Etisalat Festive Park is an ideal venue for these family-oriented activities.

Our distinctive line up of events appeal to every member of the family and we are expecting it to attract a large number of residents and tourists throughout the Dubai Shopping Festival celebrations, said Fares.

Children have plenty of reasons to plan a day out at Etisalat Festive Park. The CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN Show is a great event for the young ones to be mesmerized by a series of acrobatic performances presented by 20 circus artists. The three thirty-minute shows will be held from 12 17 January, 19 24 January and 31 January to 1 February at 4pm, 6pm and 7:30pm daily.

Also in store for them are the fantastic Knockout Games inflatable installations at Zabeel Park where kids can participate with their friends and siblings from 15-17 January, 22 24 January and 29 31 January from 10am to 6pm daily.

The Extreme Show is another great activity to be enjoyed at the Etisalat Festive Park until 1 February at 4:30pm, 8pm and 9pm daily. Children can also look forward to savoring sweet treats at a bake sale organized by the Al Tayer Group, to fuel their long entertainment sprees. The Al Tayer Initiative will take place on 24 January from 10am to 5pm.

The milestone edition of Dubai Shopping Festival runs from 1 January to 1 February under the theme 20th Anniversary A Journey of Celebrations. During the 32 days of the festival, families can look forward to an array of world-class entertainment, character shows, shopping-linked promotions and life-changing prizes aimed at making this the most memorable DSF.
