EY Academy Launches AI-Enabled Future-Ready Project Delivery Accelerator Across GCC

EY Academy has launched its AI-enabled Future-Ready Project Delivery Accelerator, a flagship programme designed to strengthen project delivery capabilities across organisations in the GCC and prepare leaders for increasingly complex transformation initiatives.

The programme has already been introduced in Saudi Arabia, reflecting strong regional demand as governments and enterprises accelerate projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and broader economic transformation agendas.

Developed to address the growing gap between strategic ambition and execution capability, the accelerator combines structured learning with real-world application, coaching, and measurable performance outcomes.

Meeting The Region’s Evolving Delivery Challenges

Organisations across the GCC are managing large-scale transformation programmes marked by tight timelines, complex stakeholder environments, and high accountability expectations. Traditional project management approaches are increasingly seen as insufficient to meet these demands.

The accelerator focuses on building future-ready leaders who can navigate this complexity with:
Strategic judgement and execution discipline
Digital fluency and AI integration
Advanced stakeholder and governance management

Fazeela Gopalani, MENA Academy Leader at EY, emphasised that modern project leaders must move beyond conventional methods and embrace AI-enabled, data-driven decision-making while maintaining strong governance.

Applied Learning With Immediate Impact

A key differentiator of the programme is its “applied-by-design” approach, where participants work on real organisational projects throughout the learning journey.

This ensures that skills are not theoretical but directly improve:
Delivery predictability and execution quality
Governance, transparency, and reporting standards
Operational discipline across complex initiatives

Participants also complete a final project linked to live business challenges, enabling immediate, measurable impact within their organisations.

AI Integration With Responsible Governance

The programme places strong emphasis on responsible AI adoption, equipping participants to use emerging technologies effectively while maintaining organisational controls.

Through AI-powered simulations and practice labs, participants learn to:
Use AI tools to enhance planning, reporting, and risk detection
Apply governance frameworks, including data sensitivity and approvals
Improve decision-making through data-driven insights
Strengthen team collaboration using digital workflows

These capabilities help organisations adapt to an increasingly AI-driven delivery environment, where speed, accuracy, and transparency are critical.

Supporting Regional Transformation Goals

The initiative contributes directly to national and regional priorities by building local talent and delivery capability, particularly for large-scale and “giga” projects.

By equipping professionals with globally benchmarked skills, the programme supports:
Workforce development and talent localisation
Improved productivity and accountability
Stronger execution of strategic transformation initiatives

Leveraging its experience across major regional projects, EY positions the academy as a key partner in preparing organisations for the next generation of digitally enabled project delivery.

As the GCC continues to push forward ambitious economic agendas, initiatives like this are expected to play a critical role in ensuring that vision translates into execution, driving sustainable long-term growth.
