Etihad Water and Electricity Unveils Dynamic New Corporate Identity Aligned with UAE’s Vision

Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) has unveiled its reimagined corporate identity at a grand ceremony held during the Etihad Golf Championship. The event, attended by prominent dignitaries and key stakeholders, marked a significant milestone in the utility company's journey toward sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment.

New Identity Reflects Leadership and Empowerment

The new corporate logo, designed in vibrant shades of blue and orange, symbolizes the fluidity and dynamism of EtihadWE’s services, highlighting its commitment to seamless public service delivery and fostering economic and industrial growth in the Northern Emirates.

H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and Chairman of EtihadWE Board, emphasized that the company is on track to achieve its strategic objectives of sustainability and expansion while fulfilling the UAE leadership's vision for the sector.

Dignitaries in Attendance

The ceremony was graced by the presence of H.H. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, and H.E. Sheikh Dr. Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Ruler’s Court, along with board members, senior officials, and employees of EtihadWE.

Empowering Communities and Achieving Sustainability Goals

H.E. Suhail Al Mazrouei commended EtihadWE’s leadership for its strategic transformation and highlighted key achievements:

  • Emiratisation: UAE nationals now represent 80% of the workforce and 70% of leadership roles, with women comprising 56% of the workforce.
  • Service Efficiency: Continued efforts to optimize resource allocation and enhance service quality.

The event also featured a spectacular drone show at Al Zorah Golf Club, celebrating EtihadWE’s evolution over the past 50 years and unveiling the company’s new logo in a dramatic finale.

Key partners, including the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, Umm Al Quwain's Department of Tourism and Antiquities, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, and Al Zorah Golf Club, were honored for their contributions to the event’s success.

In a panel discussion, Eng. Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of EtihadWE, elaborated on the company’s future plans, focusing on:

  • Empowering communities and fostering mutual benefits.
  • Investing in smart technologies to support water security, energy transformation, food security, and climate neutrality.
