ENOC and Arabian Automobiles organize 8th edition of XPLORE UAE
ENOC Lubricants, a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) in collaboration with Arabian Automobiles, AW Rostamani Group's flagship company and special distributor for Nissan, Infiniti & Renault in Dubai and Northern Emirates just recently concluded the 8th edition of XPLORE UAE.
Organized in association with Emirates Islamic, Autopro, MAPFRE, Dubai 4x4 and Rixos Bab Al Bahar, XPLORE UAE provides individuals and chance to experience the UAE's varied terrain. This year, the event gathered 700 off-road adventurers in 250 SUV's throughout a complete desert drive trip around Ras Al Khaimah.
Starting at the Rixos Bab Al Bahar, the journey covered a total of 100 kilometres of off-road driving and participants spent a day in the desert and concluded with a dinner at Rixos Bab Al Bahar. This year, the event successfully raised AED 50,000 for Al Ihsan Charity Association in support for the less fortunate.
ENOC Lubricants initially worked together with Arabian Automobiles Company to launch XPLORE UAE in 2008. Noteworthy for its 2013 edition, the event was acknowledged as the biggest convoy of off-road vehicles with an overall of 153 SUVs being driven by off-road enthusiasts by the Guinness Book of World Records.
