Empower Launches District Cooling Plant in Jumeirah Beach Hills
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower) has commenced operations of the first phase of its new District Cooling Plant in Jumeirah Beach Hills (JBH). The plant, with a planned production capacity of 48,000 refrigeration tons (RT) upon full completion, will serve Jumeirah, one of Dubai’s premier residential and tourist destinations.
Serving Iconic Projects in Jumeirah
The new cooling plant will support several high-profile developments, including:
- Burj Al Arab, the world-famous luxury hotel.
- Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel.
- Marsa Al Arab, an architectural landmark.
- Madinat Jumeirah Living.
Future expansions will extend services to projects like Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel, and Jumeirah Mina A’Salam Hotel, among others.
