Ducab Launches Program to Support Day for Dubai Initiative
Ducab, the UAE-based leading supplier of high-quality cables and cabling products, is introducing a new beautification and sustainability program within its employees' holiday accommodations in Jebel Ali under the banner of the recently introduced "Day for Dubai" campaign.
The program is available in response to the "Day for Dubai" effort, which has been launched to strengthen the function and principle of social responsibility amongst individuals, led by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Royal Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and In accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
The new volunteer program will see Ducab employees cultivate trees and local vegetable yards within their personnel accommodations, boosting the overall green area within Jebel Ali. Teams of employees are being provided specific areas of 35 m2 and are being provided with knowledge and agriculture equipment, while a specialized team of volunteers will be checking the progression of the program and overseeing distribution of the resulting fruit and vegetables.
