Dubai South and INDU Kishore Logistics Break Ground on New Logistics Facility
Dubai South, the UAE’s largest urban development focusing on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has partnered with INDU Kishore Logistics to break ground on a state-of-the-art logistics facility in the Dubai South Logistics District. This new development, spanning 23,000 square meters and accommodating 75,000 pallets, marks a significant step forward in INDU Kishore’s expansion, supporting its goal to become a leading player in multi-industry logistics.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by AbdulBasit AlMarzouqi, Deputy CEO of Dubai South's Logistics District, and Kishore Lakhani, Chairman of INDU Group, alongside senior representatives from both organizations. Scheduled for completion by Q3 2025, the facility will be equipped with data-driven automation systems to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure a swift flow of shipments.
Commenting on the project, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of Dubai South Logistics District, said, “We are pleased to witness the groundbreaking of INDU Kishore Logistics’ new facility. This project will contribute significantly to our logistics portfolio and supports Dubai’s vision of becoming a global logistics hub. The Dubai South Logistics District offers access to Jebel Ali Port through a bonded logistics corridor, connectivity to Al Maktoum International Airport’s cargo terminals, and includes EZDubai, an e-commerce free zone, as well as a dedicated Contract Logistics Zone.
