Dubai: Salik’s Variable Toll Rates to Launch January 31
Peak-hour charges set at Dh6; free toll passage during specific hours
Dubai’s Salik toll system will introduce variable pricing starting January 31, offering motorists flexibility based on traffic flow.
Weekday Toll Rates:
- Peak Hours: Dh6 (6 AM–10 AM, 4 PM–8 PM).
- Off-Peak Hours: Dh4 (10 AM–4 PM, 8 PM–1 AM).
- Free Hours: 1 AM–6 AM.
Sunday Toll Rates:
- Dh4 throughout the day (7 AM–2 AM).
- Free from 2 AM–7 AM.
Special Ramadan Rates:
- Peak Hours: Dh6 (9 AM–5 PM).
- Off-Peak Hours: Dh4 (7 AM–9 AM, 5 PM–2 AM).
- Free between 2 AM and 7 AM.
The toll system remains unchanged for vehicles passing through the same direction within an hour across Al Safa and Al Mamzar gates.
Changes in Parking Fees:
- By March 2025: Dh6 per hour for premium spaces and Dh4 for other public parking during peak hours (8 AM–10 AM, 4 PM–8 PM).
- Free parking at night (10 PM–8 AM) and on Sundays.
Event Area Parking Fees:
Starting February 2025, event zones like the Dubai World Trade Centre will charge Dh25 per hour during major events as part of the new Congestion Pricing Policy.
