Sharjah Ladies Run 10th Anniversary: Celebrate with AED 10,000 for the First Winner
Under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC), the Club is set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Sharjah Ladies Run. The annual event, themed ’10 Trips Around the Sun,’ will take place on February 15th from 6 PM to 10 PM at Al Seyouh Ladies Park. This milestone event highlights a decade of promoting healthy living and empowering women.
Over the past ten years, the Sharjah Ladies Run has grown into the premier women-only running event in the Emirate, attracting women and girls from diverse backgrounds. It stands as a testament to the Club’s commitment to enhancing women’s quality of life through physical activity and fostering a sense of community.
Women and girls aged 12 and above are invited to participate by registering through the Sharjah Ladies Club mobile application. To support participants, the Club will provide exercise and nutrition tips via its social media channels.
In celebration of the event’s tenth anniversary, the first-place winner will receive a grand cash prize of AED 10,000. Additionally, the total prize pool for the top three finishers in the 5km category will amount to AED 27,000, complemented by gifts from the event’s sponsors. Special prizes will also be awarded to encourage Emirati participation, underlining SLC’s dedication to empowering Emirati women in various fields.
Participants can look forward to a variety of engaging activities, including Zumba sessions, warm-up exercises, and fitness challenges led by Fitness 180 instructors. The event will also feature healthy snacks and drinks, and exclusive offers from the Club’s facilities.
Sharjah Ladies Club has established itself as a beacon of women’s empowerment, offering services in fitness, beauty, hospitality, and leisure.
