Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences organized the “Pioneers of Excellence Forum” in Dubai, bringing together educational excellence award winners and coordinators from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen educational innovation and knowledge exchange across the region.

The initiative featured the participation of 23 educational award winners and educational coordinators representing GCC countries and was held ahead of the Foundation’s award closing ceremony. The forum aimed to encourage professional dialogue, share successful educational practices, and support the development of a Gulf-wide network focused on educational excellence.

The programme included an introductory visit to Zayed Educational Complex in Al Barsha, where participants toured the campus and observed the institution’s educational environment serving students in the second and third cycles.

Teachers attending the forum observed live classroom models, while students participated in applied workshops showcasing innovative teaching practices and modern learning approaches.

The visit provided attendees with direct exposure to advanced Emirati educational experiences while opening discussions on adapting successful educational models across Gulf institutions.

Interactive Discussions on the Future of Education

The forum concluded with an interactive panel discussion where award winners reflected on their professional journeys after receiving recognition and discussed the broader impact of educational awards on teaching and leadership development.
