Dubai Land Department Honours 10 Real Estate Firms for Exceeding Emiratisation Goals Under Broker Programme
The Dubai Land Department (DLD), through its Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), has recognised ten real estate brokerage firms that have surpassed Emiratisation targets under the ‘Dubai Real Estate Broker Programme’. The recognition highlights the private sector’s growing commitment to integrating UAE nationals into the real estate industry and promoting sustainable employment practices.
The honouring ceremony was held at the DLD headquarters in the presence of His Excellency Omar Hamad BuShehab, Director General of DLD, along with several industry leaders and real estate professionals.
The ten firms acknowledged for their outstanding contributions include:
Each of these firms successfully employed more than twenty Emirati men and women, exceeding the programme’s initial goals and qualifying for additional classification points within DLD’s regulatory framework. These achievements underscore their dedication to nurturing local talent and aligning with the broader vision of national workforce development.
Mohammed Ali Al Badwawi, Acting CEO of RERA, praised the public-private sector collaboration, saying:
“What we are witnessing today is a true example of a conscious partnership between the public and private sectors. These companies have shown that investing in Emirati talent is a strategic choice that reflects institutional maturity and long-term vision. We reaffirm our commitment to expanding this programme and enhancing its impact in building a more balanced and sustainable real estate market.”
Launched to support the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033 and the Dubai Social Agenda 33, the ‘Dubai Real Estate Broker Programme’ is designed to open new career pathways for Emiratis in the real estate sector. It offers a comprehensive framework of training, certification, and professional development, enabling Emiratis to take on leadership roles in a competitive industry.
This milestone also reflects DLD’s continued efforts to encourage a more inclusive, balanced, and future-ready workforce. By promoting Emiratisation, the department aims to ensure long-term market sustainability, support human capital development, and reinforce Dubai’s global positioning as the best city in the world to live and work.
The Dubai Land Department continues to invite all real estate companies operating in Dubai to join this ambitious national initiative. Participating firms not only gain enhanced classification benefits but also contribute meaningfully to national goals by empowering Emiratis and supporting socio-economic development.
