Dubai Culture Wins Global Innovation Award for Excellence in Cultural Innovation
The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has been awarded the "Distinguished Public Sector Organization" title for 2024 by the Global Innovation Institute (GInI). The prestigious recognition was presented under the leadership of Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Supreme President of the Arab Network for Creativity and Innovation.
The award acknowledges Dubai Culture’s commitment to cultural innovation, recognizing its systematic and impactful approach that extends benefits beyond the organization itself. The Authority’s innovative initiatives have played a vital role in enhancing team capabilities, fostering a sustainable creative ecosystem, and launching groundbreaking cultural projects.
Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, expressed pride in the recognition, stating:

The Global Distinguished Innovator Awards saw participation from 2,844 innovators representing 987 institutions from the Middle East, 657 from North and South America, 566 from Europe, and 634 from the Asia-Pacific region. The winners were recognized during the Global Innovation Summit 2025, hosted by GInI at The Sustainable City in Dubai on February 25-26.
This achievement solidifies Dubai Culture’s role in shaping Dubai as a global center for culture, a hub for creativity, and a leading incubator for artistic talent, reinforcing the emirate’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the cultural sector.
