Dubai Chambers Signs MoU with U.S. Chamber of Commerce to Strengthen Bilateral Trade

Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States (U.S.) Chamber of Commerce to enhance trade relations and foster economic cooperation between Dubai and the U.S. business communities. The agreement aims to boost bilateral trade, investment opportunities, and collaboration across key sectors.

The MoU was signed at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters by Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, and Steve Lutes, Vice President for the Middle East at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Salem Al Shamsi highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership, stating:
"This collaboration is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen economic ties with global business organizations. By working closely with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, we aim to enhance investment partnerships and create new business opportunities for American companies in Dubai and vice versa."

Key Areas of Cooperation

Under the agreement, Dubai Chambers will assist U.S. Chamber members in establishing and expanding their businesses in Dubai by offering strategic investment support services. Likewise, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will help Dubai-based companies expand into the U.S. market. The MoU also includes:

  • Business matchmaking and networking opportunities.
  • Joint participation in trade fairs, investment missions, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Regular exchange of market reports and trade-related information.

Dubai Chambers remains committed to its strategic priorities, which include enhancing Dubai’s business environment, attracting global investments, and supporting the international expansion of its members.
