Robo.ai Inc. (NASDAQ: AIIO) has appointed H.E. Dr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, former INTERPOL President, as Chairman of its proposed subsidiary Alif Holding, an Abu Dhabi-headquartered intelligent industrial technology group, effective immediately.

The appointment is intended to strengthen the company's corporate governance, security, and compliance oversight as it expands its artificial intelligence capabilities for government and enterprise customers across the Middle East and international markets.

Focus on AI for Critical Infrastructure

Operating under the theme "Building Intelligent Industries," Alif Holding is structured around two core platforms—intelligent software and intelligent equipment—and develops, integrates, and manufactures AI systems in the UAE.

The group's solutions are designed for government, public-sector, and mission-critical industries, including:

  1. Energy
  2. Oil and gas
  3. Ports
  4. Public safety
  5. Utilities
  6. Mining
  7. Transportation
  8. Smart cities
  9. Critical infrastructure

The company said its systems are engineered to meet government-grade security, reliability, and operational continuity standards while supporting Made in UAE manufacturing and open-architecture technology.

Leadership with Global Security Experience

Dr. Al-Raisi brings more than 40 years of experience in digital transformation, public-sector innovation, and global digital security governance.

He served as President of INTERPOL from 2021 to 2025, becoming the first Middle Eastern leader to hold the position in the organization's history. He currently also serves as Chairman of Neurovia AI, another subsidiary of Robo.ai.

In his new role, Dr. Al-Raisi will chair Alif Holding's Board of Directors, providing strategic oversight on:

Supporting UAE's AI Vision
