In the tropics of the Outer Amirantes, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island is far detached from the day to day, encouraging relaxation through daily adventures and calm serenity on 14 kilometres (8.7 miles) of white-sand beaches. While not listed to open until October 1, 2020, the Resort is now receiving reservations solely for its Presidential Villa and multi-bedroom Private Retreats.


With private jets and yachts now welcome in Seychelles with prior government approval and the capacity to land right on Desroches Island’s runway, plus the arrival of several commercial flights as from August 1, 2020, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island is looking to provide an isolated island retreat in which visitors may experience the very best of Seychelles through a choice of recreational activities.


Visitors booking the exclusive Private Retreats Experience for a minimum stay of 14 nights will be able to enjoy:


  • A private chef – All catering will be offered in-villa through personalised menus from a private chef (mandatory supplement applies).


  • Round the clock assistance – Butler service will be extended throughout the stay to help with any requests and to bring visitors around the island on their private golf buggy.


  • Island adventures – In its typically remote setting, Desroches is home to an abundance of activities. As part of the Private Retreats Experience, the recreational activities on offer will cover tennis, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, stargazing, in-villa massages and private yoga classes, plus the chance to engage in any number of the island’s conservation projects, such as adopting a giant Aldabra tortoise, native tree planting and turtle beach walks.

Each day in Desroches is fully customisable to however guests wish to spend their time.” In a naturally secluded setting, the Private Retreats in Desroches comprise a Presidential Villa, which in its three separate units may be booked as a Three, Five or Seven Bedroom accommodation, alongside a choice of Three, Four and Five-Bedroom Residence Villas. 


All Private Retreats boasts extensive indoor and outdoor living areas, a separate infinity pool and tropical garden, and a picturesque beachfront location.

Trained in health care expertise and enabled by access to driving technologies and tools, the Lead With Care plan is concentrated on giving care, confidence and comfort to all Four Seasons visitors, employees and residents within the new COVID-19 environment. 


The new plan outlines clear ideas that educate and enable Four Seasons employees to take care of guests and each other. While guests will see many of the enhanced Lead With Care procedures, behind-the-scenes measures will also take place through employee training, additional food handling protocols, and enhancements to ventilation systems and other back-of-the-house operations.
