Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris Re-Opens Its Doors on September 1

Following the opening of Michelin-starred restaurant Le George in June, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris is thrilled to announce it will re-open its doors to greet visitors from Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

Local and international guests will be able to experience a timeless stay in the heart of the French capital, where they can rediscover French art de vivre through the expertise and know-how of the Hotels experts.


We are completely looking ahead to greeting guests again and communicating with them a new chapter of our the story, comments Jean-Claude Wietzel, Regional Vice-President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris.

At all Four Seasons hotels, we have executed a strict health order to allow guests to experience their stay in complete safety. Handled with the same passion as always, our team will give guests a memorable stay through experiences that bring guests together with the Hotels most talented individuals.


These exclusive customised experiences offer visitors the chance to reach the talents that have made the George V into the legendary Parisian institution it is today. Lovers of haute cuisine will be able to experience unique bimonthly led by the Hotels renowned chefs and sommeliers.


Tailor-made cooking classes carried out by three Michelin-starred Chef Christian Le Squer, Michelin-starred Chefs Simone Zanoni and Alan Taudon, and Pastry Chef Michael Bartocetti will be offered in the majestic backdrop of Le Cinq.

Classes will take place two Sundays a month, with between two and ten participants per class. Fine wine enthusiasts will also be able to enjoy private wine tasting sessions led by celebrated sommelier ric Beaumard and Gabriele Del Carlo, Italys best sommelier.

Guests will also be able to satisfy in a fully immersive gastronomic experience with ChefSimone Zanoni. The experience begins at the very entrance of the Hotel, where Chef Zanoni will personally drive guests in an electric vehicle a Porsche Panamera Turbo S Hybrid from Paris to the Domaine de Madame Elisabeth in Versailles, home to the Kitchen Garden ofLe George.

Chef Zanoni will guide guests around the Kitchen Garden, assisting them to select and pick seasonal fruits and vegetables for their guided cooking lesson at Le George. Guests will discover how to bring out the ingredients true flavours, creating simple, elegant dishes. The Chef will cast light on some of his favourite cooking techniques, sharing plenty of suggestions and advice.

To magnify this delightful gastronomic experience, guests will be given a copy ofMy Italy,a collection of the Chefs very best Mediterranean recipes to wow family and friends at home.
