Digital Dubai Accelerates DubaiNow Expansion with Intensive Government Services Integration Bootcamp
Digital Dubai has launched an intensive specialized bootcamp aimed at accelerating the integration of government services into the DubaiNow application, as part of the emirate’s ongoing digital transformation strategy and the implementation of the Digital Shared Channels Initiative.
The initiative aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, to unify government services through an integrated digital ecosystem.
More Than 180 New Services to Be Added
Under the latest phase of the initiative, more than 180 additional services are scheduled to be integrated into the DubaiNow app by February 2027, further strengthening its role as Dubai’s unified digital platform for individual users.
The expansion supports the broader objective of delivering seamless, user-centric government services through a single digital channel, enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and convenience for residents and visitors alike.
Major Government Entities Participate
The intensive bootcamp brought together representatives from several key government organizations, including:
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)
Dubai Police
Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation
Dubai Health Authority
Dubai Health
Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department
Dubai Culture
Department of Finance
Community Development Authority
General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai
These entities will spearhead the next phase of service migration to the DubaiNow platform, with additional government departments expected to join future implementation stages.
Creating a Seamless Digital Government Experience
Commenting on the initiative, H.E. Matar Al Hemeiri, CEO of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment, described the Digital Shared Channels Initiative as a transformative step in government service delivery.
“The Digital Shared Channels Initiative marks a significant transformation in the delivery of government services in Dubai. It is built on unifying services within specialised digital channels that provide a clearer, more seamless user experience, powered by AI,” he said.
Al Hemeiri emphasized that the initiative is designed not only to consolidate services onto a single platform but also to create a fully integrated government ecosystem centered around user needs.
“Our goal extends beyond providing services through a single platform. We are advancing a connected government experience in which entities operate as one integrated ecosystem centred around people’s needs,” he added.
Supporting Dubai’s Vision for Digital Excellence
The expansion of the DubaiNow app forms part of Dubai’s wider strategy to modernize government service delivery, improve quality of life, and enhance the emirate’s global competitiveness through innovation and technology.
The Digital Shared Channels Initiative, launched under the direction of Sheikh Hamdan, seeks to consolidate government services into seven unified and specialized digital channels, including:
DubaiNow – Individual services
Invest in Dubai – Business services
Visit Dubai – Tourism services
Dedicated platforms for transport, justice, construction, and trade
By streamlining service delivery through specialized digital channels, Dubai aims to provide faster, more efficient, and highly personalized experiences powered by artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies.
Advancing the Future of Smart Government
As more government services are integrated into DubaiNow, Digital Dubai continues to strengthen its vision of creating one of the world’s most advanced digital government ecosystems.
The initiative represents a key milestone in Dubai’s ambition to deliver the world’s best digital experience, ensuring residents, businesses, and visitors can access essential services through a seamless, secure, and user-friendly platform.
