Canon Middle East participates in Walk for a Cause to support local and international communities
Canon Middle East (CME), a leader in imaging solutions, took part in "Walk for a Cause," an Etihad Airways community engagement and fund-raising event held at Mushrif Central Park, Abu Dhabi.
Etihad Airways arranged their 4th Annual Social Event to support a new Autism center being built in Abu Dhabi and to renovate and refurbish a school in India. The occasion witnessed an overwhelming reaction as 5,236 visitors, consisting of young children, took part in and added to this honorable cause.
The highlight of the event was Canon's photo opportunity, where a team from Canon trained the taking part children on ways to take an image using Canon products; a photo station including a cutout of a plane and team uniforms was produced for kids to have their images taken in, transporting them to the world of flying. Visitors were also motivated to compose their ideas and messages about exactly what inspired them to participate in the occasion, on a footprint sticker label. Their messages were later positioned on a wall.
