Ministry of Health and Prevention reveals customer happiness as one of its top strategic goals

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) effectively concluded an 'Open Day' for medical licenses at its head office recently. The event was headed by H.E. Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Policy and Licensing, MOHAP and gone to by the Ministry's department heads and employee.

H.E. Al Amiri stated, "This 'Open Day' event falls in line with the Ministry's goal of enhancing and further boosting the quality of its work systems and typing in the advancement of more health facilities, consequently ensuring much easier access and compliance with set worldwide requirements and standards. Today, we are witness to the MOHAP continuing efforts to effect a transformational shift to improve productivity and boost efficiencies making our clients happier, which in turn, will allow us to resolve essential obstacles while likewise executing the instructions of the sensible leadership.".

"We are looking forward to enlightening all of our customer services staff with the proper operational procedures required in performing the vital testimonial of requirements by employees in the pharmaceutical and healthcare market-- offering them with the required licensing for medical and pharmaceutical facilities," H.E. Al Amiri added.

The MOHAP Assistant Undersecretary shared that the next objective is to be able to provide licenses to these medical and pharmaceutical specialists and their relevant facilities 24 hours after the submission of their requirements. The move reflects the Ministry's continuing dedication towards advancement of better services, health policies and legislation. This also includes the existence of a sufficient explanation in the electronic system of the client to ask about licensing procedures from A to Z.

H.E. Al Amiri discussed that the launch of the Ministry's efforts to measure the level of consumers' happiness through the happiness index falls in line with the objective to ensure the constant provision of all management services in accordance with quality, performance and transparency standards. The move is expected to raise client satisfaction rates along with the percentage of practical happiness-- more combining the UAE's leading position in the MENA area in the global happiness index of 2016, exceeding France, Thailand, Spain and Japan.
