Bloomberg forum to examine what is next for dubai
Bloomberg L.P. will hold its first Future Cities Forum in the GCC at the Armani Hotel, Dubai tomorrow, Tuesday 17 March, hosted by Michael R. Bloomberg, United Nations Special Envoy for Cities and Climate Change, Founder of Bloomberg L.P. and three-term Mayor of New York City.
Before an audience of business leaders, investors, members of the financial community and the media, a panel of experts from government and finance will explore the city's models for success and vision for its future.
The panellists will convene at the half-day forum to examine issues central to the city's success including its diversification into logistics, finance, tourism, real estate and its ambition to become the capital of the Islamic economy.

In a special one-on-one conversation, Michael R. Bloomberg will sit down with Editor-at-Large and Anchor, Bloomberg Television, Francine Lacqua to share his insights on what the changes globally to the financial industry mean for a financial centre like Dubai. He will also discuss some of the new issues he is addressing philanthropically and share his views on the role of public-private partnerships in helping cities build infrastructure, innovate, and remain competitive.
