BCG’s Jeel Tamooh enters 8th year, nurturing Saudi Arabia’s rising leaders

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has launched the eighth edition of its flagship Jeel Tamooh programme in Riyadh, reinforcing its long-term commitment to developing future leaders aligned with the Kingdom’s transformation agenda.

The 2026 edition, themed “Where Your Ambition Shapes,” brought together more than 150 aspiring young professionals for a full-day launch event featuring skill-building workshops, mentorship sessions, and hands-on learning experiences. The initiative continues to play a key role in equipping participants with the mindset, capabilities, and networks needed to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s evolving economy.

Senior BCG leaders, including Nicola Di Menno, Principal at BCG Riyadh, opened the event, alongside a video address from Christoph Schweizer, President and CEO of BCG, and remarks from Philippe Cornette de Saint Cyr, Managing Director and Senior Partner and Head of BCG Riyadh.

A growing platform for talent development

Since its inception in 2019, Jeel Tamooh has supported over 850 students, many of whom have progressed into roles within BCG and other leading organisations across the Kingdom. The programme has evolved into a cornerstone of talent development, offering participants exposure to real-world business challenges, personalised mentorship, and a strong alumni network.

This year’s cohort reflects BCG’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, with a balanced 50/50 gender representation. Enhanced programme modules guide participants through understanding global trends and translating ambition into practical career strategies.

Focus on future skills and real-world impact

A key highlight of the event was the session “Signals of the Future,” which explored megatrends such as artificial intelligence, automation, and geopolitical shifts, and emphasised the importance of adaptability, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Participants also took part in an interactive workshop, “Turning Ambition into Action,” where they developed structured career roadmaps with clear goals and accountability measures. Alumni shared insights on career progression and the habits required for sustained professional growth, offering a practical perspective on navigating early career stages.

Aligned with Vision 2030 ambitions

BCG highlighted that the programme is closely aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, which calls for a new generation of leaders capable of driving innovation and managing complexity in a rapidly changing environment.

Philippe Cornette de Saint Cyr noted that initiatives like Jeel Tamooh help bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, while also fostering resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of purpose among participants.

Empowering the next generation

The event concluded with a strong message around personal accountability and continuous growth, encouraging participants to take ownership of their development journeys. Attendees were urged to stay informed, embrace lifelong learning, and actively pursue their ambitions with clarity and discipline.

As Saudi Arabia continues its transition towards a knowledge-based economy, programmes like Jeel Tamooh are expected to play a vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders who will contribute to the Kingdom’s long-term development goals.
