Autel signs strategic MoU with UAEV to enhance next-generation smart-charging solutions in the UAE
Autel Digital Power Co., Ltd has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emarat EV Charging Stations Company (UAEV), the national Charge Point Operator overseeing the UAE’s electric-vehicle charging infrastructure. The agreement strengthens Autel’s role in supporting the country’s push toward a high-performance, scalable and future-ready EV charging network.
The MoU was formalised during a UAEV delegation’s visit to Autel’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, where both organisations discussed advancing next-generation charging and energy-management technologies tailored to the UAE’s mobility landscape and hot-climate operating conditions.
Under the agreement, Autel and UAEV will collaborate on several cutting-edge technology areas, including Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) systems, battery-energy storage solutions (BESS), and intelligent charging platforms designed specifically for the national EV network. The partnership will involve joint research, pilot programmes, and locally optimised solutions to strengthen network reliability, improve operational efficiency and support long-term scalability.
Autel brings proven expertise in ultra-fast DC charging systems capable of operating in temperatures exceeding 55°C, along with advanced remote-maintenance capabilities and ongoing R&D in AI-enabled diagnostics, power modules and cloud-platform optimisation. Combined with UAEV’s national mandate and strategic rollout plans, the collaboration aims to accelerate the development of a smarter, more adaptive EV charging ecosystem across the UAE.
Ali Al Darwish, CEO of UAEV, said the partnership marks a significant step forward in the country’s clean-mobility ambitions. “This collaboration represents an important step in advancing the UAE’s next generation of smart-charging and energy-management solutions. By pairing Autel’s technical strengths with our expanding national infrastructure, we are building an ecosystem that is more resilient, more intelligent, and aligned with the UAE’s clean-mobility ambitions.”
Melody, Vice President at Autel Digital Power Co., Ltd, added: “Autel is honoured to collaborate with UAEV on this national initiative. This MoU is a milestone in strengthening the UAE’s EV charging infrastructure. We remain committed to supporting the country’s vision with advanced technologies that deliver high reliability and efficiency.”
As part of its long-term plans, UAEV aims to deploy more than 1,000 high-speed DC chargers across the country by 2030, contributing to the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 Strategy and growing demand for sustainable mobility solutions.
