Arada Completes Five Residential Buildings in Sharjah’s Aljada Megacommunity

Arada has announced the completion and handover of five new apartment blocks within the Naseej District, the creative hub of its flagship Aljada development.

The newly delivered Sokoon 1–5 buildings comprise a total of 482 residential units, with handovers now underway. The apartments, ranging from one- to three-bedroom layouts, feature contemporary design, smart home technology, and views of landscaped courtyards and green spaces.

Prime location within a cultural hub

The Sokoon buildings are strategically located near Il Teatro, a landmark performing arts centre designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The development also offers proximity to a variety of cultural, retail, and lifestyle destinations.

Residents will have access to a range of amenities, including private gyms, swimming pools, children’s play areas, and dedicated family barbecue spaces, reinforcing the community’s focus on integrated living.

Expanding community infrastructure

Naseej District also includes the Vida Aljada complex, which features a hotel, branded residences, and multiple dining options. The area is connected through a vibrant pedestrianised piazza lined with cafes, bookstores, retail outlets, and kiosks, enhancing its appeal as a lifestyle destination.

According to Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, the latest milestone reflects the company’s continued delivery momentum across one of the region’s largest master-planned communities.

He noted that Aljada is entering a new phase of successive handovers, including upcoming completions in Naseej District and the nearby Nasaq complex, as the developer progresses toward full realisation of the project.

Growing residential base

With the addition of the Sokoon buildings, the total number of completed homes at Aljada has surpassed 8,200 units. The community is already home to more than 20,000 residents, supported by a wide range of retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, and entertainment facilities.

Spanning 24 million square feet, Aljada is the largest mixed-use development in Sharjah and is designed as a fully integrated, walkable destination offering a comprehensive urban lifestyle.

Looking ahead

Arada is expected to announce further project completions in the coming weeks, including the Vida Aljada hotel and branded residences, as well as Il Teatro Residences. The developer continues to emphasise timely delivery and consistent progress despite broader market conditions.
