Almarai Partners with Social Development Bank to Launch "Almarai Chefs" Program
Almarai Company has signed a cooperation agreement with the Social Development Bank to launch the "Almarai Chefs Program," designed to empower owners of very small cooking projects in the Riyadh region. This initiative underscores Almarai's commitment to supporting and encouraging entrepreneurs in the food sector.
The agreement was formalized by Almarai's CEO, Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bader, and the CEO of the Social Development Bank, Engineer Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Humaidi. The collaboration will cover several areas, including financing cooking training projects and identifying targeted activities for support and training.
Under the agreement, Almarai will provide funding, food products, equipment, and tools for participating projects. The Social Development Bank, through its Dulani Business Center, will offer solutions and services to qualify the targeted group via empowerment and development programs. Additionally, the Bank will nominate productive family projects to join the program in partnership with Almarai.
Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bader expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to partner with the Social Development Bank to launch the Almarai Chefs Program. This initiative will significantly empower emerging entrepreneurs in the food sector, providing ongoing support and enhancing their contributions to this vital industry.”
Engineer Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Humaidi highlighted the program's goals, saying, “Our agreement with Almarai aims to develop very small cooking projects and productive family businesses in the Riyadh region, transforming them into sustainable enterprises with tangible economic returns. We are committed to supporting innovators in launching exceptional projects that will contribute to the Kingdom's food and cooking sector.”
