Addleshaw Goddard has appointed Lucas Pitts as a Partner in its expanding regional Commercial Disputes team, reinforcing its market-leading position in the Middle East. Lucas, a highly regarded international arbitration and litigation lawyer, brings over 15 years of regional experience, including more than a decade in the UAE.

Previously with Bird & Bird, Lucas was instrumental in establishing and developing their Middle East disputes practice. Known for his expertise in cross-border litigation, fraud claims, insolvency, and investigations, he has also handled sector-specific matters across telecommunications, banking, aviation, energy, and defence.

Extensive Regional and International Expertise

Lucas’s legal acumen spans various jurisdictions and frameworks, including DIFC, ADGM, and international arbitration bodies such as ICC, LCIA, DIAC, and SIAC. His track record of setting up successful commercial disputes teams and delivering high-value legal services further strengthens Addleshaw Goddard's capabilities in resolving complex disputes.
