Abu Dhabi Police and First Abu Dhabi Bank Launch ‘Cool Their Summer’ Initiative for Workers in Al Ain
Abu Dhabi Police, in partnership with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), has launched the humanitarian initiative “Cool Their Summer” for workers at construction sites in Al Ain City. The campaign, carried out in coordination with the Labor Affairs Branch at the Al Ain Police Directorate, aims to ease the challenges faced by outdoor workers during the intense summer heat.
As part of the initiative, water, sunglasses, and sunscreen were distributed to workers, providing essential relief during the peak of summer. The effort underscores the shared commitment of Abu Dhabi Police and FAB to the well-being of laborers and their crucial role in the UAE’s development.
Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Abdullah Al Saadi, Head of the Security Media Department, stressed that the initiative reflects Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy of promoting happiness across all segments of society. He highlighted the values of positivity, social solidarity, and humanitarian responsibility embedded in the program, noting the importance of strategic partnerships in achieving community-focused goals.
Marwa Al Rahma, Head of Community Initiatives at FAB, reiterated the bank’s dedication to working with government entities to implement socially impactful projects. She emphasized the significant contributions of workers to national development and praised the UAE’s cultural values of tolerance and compassion, which continue to guide such humanitarian efforts.
