18th Annual GPCA Forum to Take Place in Oman This December
The 18th Annual Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Forum, the premier event for the petrochemical and chemical industries in the Gulf region, is set to be held for the first time in Oman. Hosted by OQ, the forum will take place at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat from 2-5 December 2024. This year's theme, "Industry’s Next Chapter: Driving Sustainable Advancement for Global Progress," will bring together industry leaders and delegates from around the world for four days of knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration.
The forum will kick off on 2 December with welcome remarks from Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, CEO of SABIC and Chairman of GPCA. This will be followed by a Ministerial address from His Excellency Salim bin Nasser bin Said Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Oman. In the afternoon, a special address will be delivered by HE Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, President of the Electricity & Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain, and Chairman of the Board of Directors, GPIC.
On 3 December, Shaikh Nawaf S. Al-Sabah, CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and Mulham Basheer Al-Jarf, Chairman of OQ, will engage in a Fireside Chat, followed by a CEO Plenary with keynotes from Jim Fitterling, Chair & CEO of Dow, and Dr. Ilham Kadri, CEO of Syensqo.
The forum promises to be a pivotal event, focusing on the industry's future and sustainable advancements in global progress.
