World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit to Launch on April 8 in Abu Dhabi

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced the launch of the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025, set to take place on April 8-9 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Under the theme "Together Towards Building Global Resilience," this year’s summit will witness the largest international participation in its history.

The event aims to enhance global cooperation in crisis management, introduce innovative solutions to address emerging global challenges, and bring together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss strategies for resilience-building.

Additionally, the summit will host two key exhibitions:

  • Crisis Management Technologies Exhibition – Showcasing the latest technological advancements in emergency management and disaster response.
  • Generation Readiness Exhibition – Focused on community awareness and disaster preparedness, reinforcing national efforts to enhance readiness for future crises.

Mariam Yaed Al Qubaisi, Official Spokesperson and Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, emphasized the UAE’s leadership in building a comprehensive global response system driven by innovation, foresight, and international partnerships. She highlighted the summit’s focus on global resilience-building, leveraging technology, and strategic planning to improve crisis response and recovery.

Key topics at the summit will include:

  • Strategic emergency planning
  • Advanced technology in risk prediction
  • International collaboration for coordinated crisis response

The event will also feature panel discussions, workshops, and agreements between government and private sector entities to facilitate knowledge exchange and develop integrated crisis management policies.

Salman Ali Al Salman, Official Spokesperson for the co-located exhibitions, emphasized the role of modern technology in enhancing crisis response and promoting a culture of emergency preparedness.

The World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025 is expected to attract a diverse audience, including government ministers, officials, emergency management professionals, representatives from international organizations, academia, and the private sector.
