Several winners of the UAE Lottery are choosing to use their prize money for a greater purpose, extending support to students, orphanages, and underprivileged communities in their home countries.

In a recently released social media reel, multiple winners shared how their winnings would go beyond personal celebrations and instead be used to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

One such winner, Ananth Perumalsamy, who won Dh1 million, said he intends to help students in his hometown in Tamil Nadu, India, who are struggling to continue their education due to financial constraints.

“I plan to support students in my hometown who don’t have the means to continue their education. I want to use part of my winnings to help them,” he said.

Another winner, Ahmed Kabeer, also originally from India, revealed plans to divide his winnings into three parts.

“The first will support people in need, the second will help care for orphaned children, and the third will be used to grow my business,” he shared.

Since its launch, the UAE Lottery has awarded more than Dh175 million in prizes to participants across the country, creating excitement among players while also inspiring a sense of gratitude, responsibility, and generosity among winners.

A similar sentiment was seen in October 2025, when Anilkumar Bolla won the historic Dh100 million Grand Prize. Following his life-changing win, he expressed his desire to contribute to charitable causes.

“I believe that donations will reach the people who really require the money. That gives me core happiness,” he said.
