UAE Flight Status: Limited Services Resume as Airlines Gradually Restore Operations

Airline operations across the UAE are gradually returning to normal as airports and carriers resume limited services following regional tensions linked to the ongoing US–Israel–Iran conflict.

Authorities and airlines have advised travellers to check flight schedules carefully and ensure they hold confirmed tickets before heading to airports, as access to terminals remains restricted to passengers with valid bookings.

Airports manage thousands of flights

Over the past several days, major UAE airports have handled thousands of flights under strict safety and operational protocols.

Dubai Airports reported that more than 1,140 flights were managed between March 2 and March 5 at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.

The operations included more than 500 outbound flights to over 80 countries, providing more than 105,000 passenger seats during the period.

Airports across the country—including facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah—have continued to operate with enhanced safety measures as services gradually resume.

Airlines restart limited schedules

Major UAE carriers have begun restoring their networks, though some routes remain limited or subject to adjustments depending on operational conditions.

The national airline Emirates is expected to progressively restore its full network in the coming days as the situation stabilises.

Other carriers, including Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, and flydubai, have also resumed selected flights while continuing to monitor the regional situation.

Passengers are advised to check airline websites or contact customer service for the latest updates on schedules, cancellations, and route availability.

Rebooking and refund options available

Travellers whose flights have been cancelled or disrupted may be eligible for rebooking or refunds depending on airline policies.

Airlines are encouraging passengers to manage changes through official websites, mobile apps, or customer service channels to avoid delays at airport counters.

Authorities have also urged travellers to arrive only if they have confirmed tickets, as airport access remains restricted to ensure smooth passenger flow and maintain operational efficiency.

Travellers urged to monitor updates

With flight operations still being adjusted, passengers are advised to regularly check flight status updates before travelling.

Airlines and airport authorities continue to coordinate closely to restore normal operations while prioritising passenger safety and minimising disruption to international travel.
