Trinasolar and Ecohope Solar Sign 600MW Distribution Agreement for Latest Vertex G3 Modules
Trinasolar, a global leader in smart photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ecohope Solar, a global provider of PV and energy storage system (ESS) solutions, to distribute 600MW of advanced solar modules across key international markets over the next three years.
The agreement was signed during the SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai, one of the world's largest and most influential solar industry exhibitions.
Agreement Targets Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa
Under the terms of the MoU, Ecohope Solar intends to purchase and distribute 600MW of Trinasolar's latest Vertex N G3 and Vertex S+ G3 modules. The partnership will primarily support residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar projects across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Thailand has been identified as a strategic market in Southeast Asia, while the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region will serve as a major focus area within the Middle East.
Industry observers note that demand for high-efficiency solar technology continues to grow as governments and businesses across these regions accelerate investments in renewable energy infrastructure and sustainability initiatives.
Vertex G3 Modules Deliver Higher Efficiency and Energy Output
The latest Vertex G3 series is powered by Trinasolar's advanced n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology, designed to enhance energy generation and improve overall system performance.
Key features of the Vertex N G3 module include:
- Power output of up to 760W
- Module efficiency of up to 24.5%
- Enhanced bifacial energy generation
- Low-voltage design for increased power per string
- Improved energy density
- Reduced balance-of-system (BOS) requirements
- Lower levelised cost of electricity (LCOE)
The technology is specifically designed to support high-performance commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar installations where efficiency and long-term returns are critical.
Vertex S+ G3 Targets Residential and Commercial Rooftops
The Vertex S+ G3 module incorporates the same i-TOPCon Ultra technology in a compact dual-glass design tailored for residential and commercial rooftop applications.
The module enables customers to maximise power generation from limited roof space while benefiting from improved durability and long-term reliability.
As rooftop solar adoption continues to expand across emerging markets, compact high-efficiency solutions are becoming increasingly important for homeowners and businesses seeking to optimise available installation areas.
Companies Highlight Long-Term Market Opportunities
Commenting on the partnership, Henry Yuan, Founder and CEO of Ecohope Solar, said customers across the company's markets are increasingly focused on achieving stronger returns from solar investments.
He noted that the Vertex G3 portfolio provides access to high-output and reliable module technology that supports improved system design and long-term project value.
"This cooperation strengthens our ability to serve customers across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa with solutions that match real market requirements," Yuan said.
Meanwhile, Todd Li, President of Trinasolar Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, highlighted Ecohope Solar's strong regional presence across both photovoltaic and energy storage sectors.
According to Li, the agreement will expand access to Trinasolar's latest i-TOPCon Ultra technology while creating opportunities for broader collaboration in integrated solar and energy storage solutions.
Partnership Supports Growing Demand for Integrated Energy Solutions
The agreement reflects a broader industry shift toward integrated renewable energy ecosystems that combine high-efficiency solar generation, energy storage, and smart energy management technologies.
As countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa pursue ambitious clean energy targets, demand is rising for advanced solar technologies capable of delivering greater efficiency, reliability, and long-term performance.
Industry experts believe partnerships between technology manufacturers and regional distributors will play a crucial role in accelerating renewable energy adoption and supporting the transition toward more sustainable energy systems.
Strengthening Renewable Energy Development Across Emerging Markets
The MoU underscores Trinasolar's strategy of supporting partners through a combination of advanced technology, large-scale manufacturing capabilities, and local market expertise.
By expanding access to next-generation solar modules and energy storage solutions, the partnership aims to help developers, businesses, and homeowners across key growth markets meet evolving energy requirements while improving project economics and sustainability outcomes.
