Trimble Advances Construction Technology in Middle East, Emphasizes Importance of Timely Project Delivery

Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB), a global leader in construction technology, highlighted the critical role of advanced connected technology in enhancing project efficiency and reducing costs as the construction markets in the Middle East continue to expand. The company revealed significant updates to its state-of-the-art software solutions, which are designed to integrate seamlessly with Trimble's hardware and third-party devices. This integration aims to streamline workflows, minimize errors, and ensure connectivity across all phases of construction, thereby facilitating on-time project delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

"In construction, time truly equates to money," Trimble stated, underscoring the necessity of connected construction solutions to accelerate project completion. The UAE construction market is expected to achieve an Average Annual Growth Rate (AAGR) of over 3 percent between 2025 and 2028, driven by substantial investments in transport, housing, and renewable energy projects. Similarly, Saudi Arabia's construction market is projected to grow from USD 70.33 billion in 2024 to USD 91.36 billion by 2029, presenting a lucrative opportunity for the adoption of advanced construction technology.

Paul Wallett, Regional Director of Trimble Solutions, Middle East, remarked, “Our advanced connected construction solutions are tailored to address the diverse challenges faced by the Middle East’s construction markets. Key issues such as design accuracy, stakeholder alignment, and efficient document control must be addressed to ensure precise and timely project completion, ultimately reducing costs. We are also in the process of expanding our innovative solution portfolio in the Middle East region.”

With the rise of smart cities, there is an increasing demand for eco-friendly and efficient infrastructure. Governments across the region are seeking solutions that enable connected and automated infrastructure, and Trimble aims to drive the shift toward sustainable and integrated urban developments with its cutting-edge technology.

Trimble is set to announce the expansion of its software portfolio for construction document management in the Middle East during the Connected Construction Conference at the Museum of the Future in Dubai on 30th October 2024. The company’s innovative solutions are expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the MENA region’s growing markets by improving project efficiency and reducing costs.
