The Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment, part of Digital Dubai, has launched the updated Dubai Data Manual, introducing a comprehensive framework designed to strengthen data governance, enhance artificial intelligence (AI) readiness, and accelerate digital transformation across government entities.

The updated manual reinforces the role of data as a strategic national asset, enabling government organisations to govern, manage, share, and maximise the value of data in line with the Dubai Data Law and international best practices while preparing institutions for an AI-driven future.

Commenting on the launch, H.E. Younus Al Nasser, Chief Executive of the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment, said the updated manual represents a major milestone in advancing Dubai's digital ambitions.

"The updated Dubai Data Manual marks a major milestone for advancing government-wide readiness for the future of AI. Guided by the vision of our wise leadership, Dubai has established itself as a global benchmark for digital transformation and is now progressing beyond the digitalization of individual services towards the creation of seamless, intelligent urban experiences powered by trusted, consistent and structured data."

He added that the manual reflects a significant shift in how government entities view and manage data.
