The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean honors the Executive Director of Watani Al Emarat Foundation in the "Best Youth Support Program" Category

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean has honored H.E. Dherar Belhoul Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, with the accolade for "Best Youth Support Program." This prestigious award recognizes the foundation's outstanding efforts in empowering Emirati youth and enhancing their understanding of parliamentary government work.

The foundation's noteworthy achievements include the launch of the "Young Parliamentarians Program," which underscores the UAE’s commitment to nurturing youth and fostering their potential to become future leaders. Introduced at the beginning of 2023, this pioneering initiative is designed to promote youth involvement in parliamentary activities and strengthen the bond between citizens and their leadership.

The "Young Parliamentarians Program" aims to create a foundation of young individuals prepared for parliamentary roles, thereby contributing to political empowerment and increasing political awareness among Emirati youth. The program focuses on elevating the role of Emirati youth in political development, inspiring them to assume leadership roles in parliamentary work, and encouraging field research while incorporating global best practices in youth parliamentary engagement.

This recognition by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean highlights the significant impact of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation’s initiatives in shaping the future leaders of the UAE and promoting a politically active and informed youth population.
