MFNCA honours winners of Institutional Impact Award 2026

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) has honoured the winners of the Institutional Impact Award 2026 at a ceremony recognising employees and initiatives that contributed to sustainable institutional development.

The award highlights projects and efforts that support innovation, operational efficiency and continuous improvement, while also recognising national talent and contributions to institutional excellence.

H.E. Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the MFNCA, and H.E. Sami Mohammed bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector, attended the ceremony along with department directors and ministry employees.

Award recognises institutional and professional excellence

Employees were recognised across two main categories: Institutional Excellence, which focuses on achievements at the departmental level, and Professional Excellence, which recognises individual contributions.

The selection criteria included the scale and sustainability of institutional impact, innovation, quality of outcomes and the successful implementation of new practices.

H.E. Tariq Hilal Lootah said the award reflects the ministry's focus on developing national talent and encouraging innovation and institutional contribution.

“In a professional journey, real impact cannot be measured simply by immediate achievements or results, it extends to the sustainable value we create throughout our careers and contributions we make to building future readiness,” Lootah said.

“At MFNCA, we are committed to continuously honouring initiatives and talents that make institutional excellence a daily practice, an institutional culture, and a way of work.”

The award also provides a platform for employees to showcase initiatives and projects demonstrating creativity, initiative and collaboration between different organisational units.

According to the ministry, the programme supports knowledge transfer and the exchange of best practices while encouraging constructive competition among employees. It is also intended to contribute to an institutional environment focused on innovation and sustainability.

MFNCA's role

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs coordinates between the UAE Government and the Federal National Council on matters related to the Council's legislative and supervisory responsibilities.

The ministry contributes to legislation related to the FNC's role and oversees media affairs connected with parliamentary life.

It also serves as the Secretariat of the National Elections Committee, managing its administrative, financial and technical affairs. In addition, the ministry supports efforts to promote awareness of parliamentary life and political participation in the UAE.
