His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, dedicated his Accession Day celebrations to a deeply personal tribute to his wife, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum.

In an emotional message shared on his X (Twitter) account, Sheikh Mohammed praised Sheikha Hind as the pillar of their family and a constant source of strength throughout his life and leadership. He expressed his deep gratitude for her unwavering support and partnership, referring to her as the "Mother of the Sheikhs" and emphasizing her essential role in his journey.

Sheikh Mohammed said, "Every year on January 4, we traditionally replace the Accession Day celebrations with a different kind of tribute. This year, I would like to dedicate this day to my wife, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum. She is not just my partner in life but my supporter, my strength, and the one who has always been by my side through it all."

He continued, "Hind bint Maktoum has always been and will continue to be a friend, a companion, and a source of kindness. She is the foundation of my home, the cornerstone of my family, and my greatest supporter throughout my journey."

In his heartfelt message, Sheikh Mohammed also extended a prayer for Sheikha Hind’s well-being, asking for Allah to protect her, fill her life with joy, and keep their bond strong. "You are the first and most beautiful part of my journey, the soul and heartbeat of Dubai," he added.

Sheikh Mohammed concluded his tribute with a reflection on a noble Hadith from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): "The best of people are those who are best to their families," underscoring the importance of honoring those who stand by us with love and support.
