Saudi German Hospital-Jeddah has announced the successful removal of a large renal neoplasm from a 64-year-old woman in a highly complex and risky procedure. The mass, measuring 35 x 32 x 30 cm and weighing approximately 4.7 kg, had displaced critical blood vessels, including the aorta and inferior vena cava.
The surgery was led by an expert urology team comprising Prof. Dr. Khaled Abuelazaym, Dr. Mohamed Fawzy, Dr. Mohamed Salama, and Dr. Ahmed Isa, with the anaesthesia team led by Dr. Amr.
