Under the esteemed patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin AbdulAziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia is set to host the 28th annual World Investment Conference (WIC) from November 25 to 27 in Riyadh. Organized by the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) in collaboration with Invest Saudi, the event will attract global leaders in investment, government, and international organizations to explore the theme, “Harnessing Digital Transformation and Sustainable Growth: Scaling Investment Opportunities.”

His Excellency Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, highlighted the Kingdom’s remarkable growth, stating: “Under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin AbdulAziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin AbdulAziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia, guided by its ambitious Vision 2030, has become a premier global investment destination. This year’s World Investment Conference in Riyadh offers a platform to share our strategic vision with partners and emphasize our role as a trusted partner for sustainable economic growth.”

Saudi Arabia has emerged as a global hub for investment, issuing over 28,900 foreign investment licenses. Vision 2030 reforms, including 100% foreign ownership in specific sectors and streamlined business and visa processes, have bolstered investor confidence. Sectors such as renewable energy, logistics, and artificial intelligence (AI) have particularly benefited, demonstrating the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and a resilient, innovative economy.
