SAP is preparing to host its largest-ever event in the UAE, the SAP NOW AI Tour, at Expo City Dubai on April 15, spotlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of both the public and private sectors. The event will bring together leading voices from industry, government, and academia to explore how organizations can harness AI to enhance productivity, decision-making, and innovation.

According to a new YouGov survey commissioned by SAP, 69% of UAE businesses consider AI to be “very important” to their future strategy, with another 28% viewing it as “somewhat important.” Top AI-driven outcomes cited by respondents include improved customer satisfaction (52%), increased revenue (50%), cost reductions (49%), and enhanced decision-making (49%).

“AI is no longer just an emerging technology; it is a fundamental driver of business success,” said Marwan Zeineddine, Managing Director, SAP UAE. “The SAP NOW AI Tour is designed to empower UAE businesses with the tools and insights they need to lead in the age of AI.”

• AI-focused training programs for students and young Emirati professionals.

• The launch of the SAP AI Experience Center, a hub for co-innovation and customer collaboration.

• Showcasing the latest in agentic AI – technology that supports autonomous decision-making to reduce inefficiencies and increase business agility.

Dr. Philipp Herzig, SAP’s Chief AI Officer, will present global advancements in agentic AI and business AI, offering insights into how these innovations are set to reshape enterprise operations.

Sector-Specific Insights and Innovation

The agenda will feature industry-specific sessions and customer showcases, including:

• Digital Authorities highlighting national innovation leadership.

• Deep dives into AI-driven supply chain, HR, and procurement strategies.

• Success stories from local and global enterprises leveraging SAP AI solutions.

A major highlight will be SAP’s collaboration with Databricks, featuring the SAP Business Data Cloud, which integrates structured and unstructured enterprise data to unlock new levels of predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Despite the exponential rise in data, up to 90% remains unstructured and underutilized. Through SAP’s platform and Databricks' AI capabilities, companies can now harness untapped data potential, break down silos, and extract actionable insights at scale.
