Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced the global launch of its 2024 monitor lineups, featuring the Odyssey OLED gaming monitors, Smart Monitors, and ViewFinity monitors. These new models introduce advanced features, aiming to provide exceptional experiences for gaming, entertainment, and professional use.

Odyssey OLED Series: Cutting-Edge Visuals and Burn-In Prevention

Samsung's latest Odyssey OLED models include the Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD) and Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD). The G8, Samsung's first flat 32” OLED gaming monitor, offers 4K UHD resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time. The G6 is a 27” QHD monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time, designed for ultra-responsive gameplay.

Both models feature Samsung OLED Safeguard+, a proprietary burn-in protection technology, which uses a pulsating heat pipe and Dynamic Cooling System to reduce heat and prevent burn-in. The monitors also incorporate FreeSync Premium Pro for smooth, tear-free gaming, and Samsung’s OLED Glare Free technology to minimize reflections.

Smart Monitor M8: Enhanced Entertainment with AI

The 2024 Smart Monitor lineup includes the M8 (M80D), M7 (M70D), and M5 (M50D) models. The 32” 4K UHD Smart Monitor M8 features AI-powered enhancements, including AI upscaling and Active Voice Amplifier Pro. It also supports 360 Audio Mode for immersive sound and a built-in SlimFit Camera for video calls. New to the lineup is a Workout Tracker that pairs with Galaxy Watch for real-time health data display.

ViewFinity Series: Optimized for Professionals

The ViewFinity lineup, designed for creatives and professionals, includes the ViewFinity S8 (S80UD, S80D), S7 (S70D), and S6 (S60UD, S60D) models. These monitors are made with at least 10% recycled plastic and feature HDR10 support and TÜV-Rheinland-certified Intelligent Eye Care. The S8 offers 27” and 32” 4K UHD options with a USB hub and height-adjustable stand, while the S6 includes a built-in KVM switch and USB-C port for device charging.
