RTA all set for hosting UITP MENA Transport Congress & Exhibition 2016
Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, Dubai is hosting the UITP MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition 2016, which is collectively arranged by the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) at the Dubai World Trade Center during 25-27th April 2016.
HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA, confirms that RTA is fully prepared for hosting the UITP MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition under the theme: Urban Mobility: Think Big, Act Smart. He welcomed visitors and individuals in the Congress & Exhibition wishing them pleasant remain in their second home, and wanting the Congress every success.
"This is one of the significant events in the general public transportation industry as it brings transportation officials, policy makers, legislators, consultants, operators and manufactures all under one roof to talk about visionary solutions for public transport concerns. The occasion draws in critical interest of ministers, chairpersons, CEOs, consultants, experts and other decision makers in numerous spectrums of transportation industry in view of the massive upswing experienced by cities of the area, constant increase in the variety of population, and the dire requirement for providing incorporated mass transit systems to relieve the mobility of city residents," discussed Al Tayer.
"The event is expected to bring in more than 600 individuals hailing from 29 nations, and the exhibition will extend an area of 5200 square meters. About 80 speakers from 20 countries will participate and more than 3000 guests anticipated. Over 3 days, the Congress will go over a wide variety of subjects such as the status of public transportation in growing cities, handling and financing of public transportation, transport & the use of energy, school transport, and the significance of development & creativity in supplying public transport.

"Our objective is also to boost the reputed standing of Dubai in arranging exhibitions & congresses representing a raft of commercial, economic, service, financial, and tourist sectors among others, besides enhancing its remarkable accomplishments in this regard," he added.
