Parkin to Introduce "Park Now, Pay Later" and Expand Parking Services Across Dubai

Parkin PJSC, the largest operator of paid public parking facilities in Dubai, has unveiled plans to introduce innovative features such as autopay and pay-later options for its customers, aimed at improving convenience and enhancing the overall parking experience. The announcement came after a visit by Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), to Parkin's offices.

Led by Parkin CEO Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, the company revealed its expansion strategy for parking infrastructure throughout Dubai. A key component of this plan includes the integration of advanced smart technologies and the establishment of a new customer call center capable of handling more than 500 interactions daily.

"This visit reaffirms our commitment to innovation, service excellence, and contributing actively to traffic management solutions in Dubai," Parkin stated.

In addition to its expansion of parking services, Parkin is planning to offer a range of automotive services at select parking locations in Dubai, such as car washing, mobile refueling, engine oil changes, tire checks, and battery inspections. This new initiative aims to provide drivers with convenient and comprehensive vehicle maintenance options while parked.

Earlier in December 2024, Al Ali expressed the company's ambition to expand operations beyond Dubai. "Expansion into another emirate and even beyond the borders of the UAE is part of our growth strategy," he stated. Parkin is already in discussions with a prominent Saudi-based conglomerate to bring its paid parking services to Saudi Arabia.

With these developments, Parkin aims to enhance both the convenience and service offerings available to Dubai's residents and visitors, positioning itself as a leader in the region's evolving transportation infrastructure.
