Dubai Cares and Marriott International Unite for 'Education for Children' Initiative
Dubai Cares, a civil society organization aligned with the United Nations Department of Global Communications, has announced a new partnership with Marriott International to launch the "Education for Children" initiative. The initiative, set to begin this February, invites guests staying at participating Marriott properties across the UAE to contribute USD 1 per night toward supporting Dubai Cares' mission of providing access to quality education for underprivileged children worldwide.
All proceeds raised through the initiative will be allocated to Dubai Cares' global education programs, which aim to remove the barriers preventing children and youth from accessing education, unlocking their full potential, and ensuring a sustainable impact for underserved communities.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman of Dubai Cares, emphasized the significance of the collaboration: "This partnership with Marriott International serves as a powerful example of how the hospitality sector can work with philanthropic organizations to create meaningful global change. By combining Marriott’s vast global presence with Dubai Cares’ expertise in impactful education programs across 60 countries, we are helping build a more equitable future through education."
