Deliveroo and Alshaya Group Partner to Expand Retail Delivery Across UAE and Kuwait

Deliveroo Middle East has announced a strategic partnership with Alshaya Group, one of the region’s leading international retail franchise operators, to expand retail delivery services across the UAE and Kuwait.

The collaboration will introduce a selection of globally recognised retail brands to the Deliveroo platform, allowing customers to order products across categories including beauty, personal care, homeware, children’s products, and lifestyle essentials.

Headquartered in Kuwait, Alshaya Group operates an extensive portfolio of international brands across multiple sectors throughout the Middle East. Through the initial phase of the partnership, more than 10 brands will become available for on-demand delivery via Deliveroo.

The move represents a significant expansion of Deliveroo’s growing retail business and supports its strategy to offer customers access to everyday essentials beyond traditional food and grocery delivery.

Prashant Talwar, Director of New Verticals at Deliveroo Middle East, said the partnership reflects the company’s continued focus on enhancing customer choice and convenience.

He noted that integrating a curated portfolio of globally recognised brands strengthens Deliveroo’s retail proposition while supporting the platform’s evolution into a broader on-demand marketplace.

Rob Silsbury, Vice President – Marketing & eCommerce at Alshaya Group, highlighted that the collaboration creates an additional channel for customers to access Alshaya’s retail portfolio through a seamless and reliable delivery experience.

Customers can now shop from a range of international brands including Boots, Bath & Body Works, NYX Professional Makeup, Mothercare, Muji, Ulta Beauty, and Dr. Vranjes. Additionally, Disney Store products will be available exclusively through Deliveroo delivery services.

The companies confirmed that this launch marks the first phase of a broader rollout, with additional brands expected to join the platform in the coming months.

The partnership also reflects Deliveroo’s continued investment in the Middle East’s rapidly evolving retail and e-commerce landscape, creating new opportunities for retail partners to diversify revenue streams and reach wider audiences.

Customers subscribed to Deliveroo Plus will additionally gain access to benefits including free delivery on eligible orders and exclusive rewards.
