Parkin Company PJSC, Dubai’s leading provider of paid public parking facilities and services, has entered into an operational parking management agreement with Spinneys and Waitrose to roll out its smart parking solutions across six selected retail locations in Dubai.

Under the agreement, Parkin will manage and operate parking facilities at the designated sites, using its advanced technology and operational expertise to reduce congestion and improve parking efficiency for shoppers. Customers will be offered two hours of complimentary parking, after which an hourly tariff will apply, ensuring fair access and availability of parking spaces for all visitors.

All six locations will be equipped with Parkin’s advanced parking management systems, including automated access control and seamless enforcement solutions. The facilities will also be integrated with the Parkin mobile application, allowing customers to manage their parking experience conveniently through their smartphones.

He noted that the introduction of complimentary parking combined with smart technology is designed to deliver a smoother, more efficient experience at key retail destinations, while supporting the broader evolution of urban transport in the emirate.

He added that improved traffic flow and parking management at busy locations will make store visits easier and more enjoyable, reinforcing Spinneys’ commitment to service and accessibility.
