Parkin and charge&go by e& to Roll Out 200 Ultra-Fast EV Chargers in Dubai

Parkin Company PJSC, Dubai’s leading provider of paid public parking facilities, has signed a landmark 10-year partnership with charge&go, a subsidiary of Etisalat Services Holding (ESH), part of e&. The agreement will see the rollout of 200 ultra-fast direct current (DC) EV charging stations across the emirate, accelerating Dubai’s transition to green mobility.

Cutting Charging Times to Under 30 Minutes

Scheduled to launch in October 2025, the new network will enable EV drivers to charge their vehicles in less than 30 minutes, thanks to cutting-edge DC charging technology. Stations will be strategically installed across high-density residential communities, retail hubs, and leisure destinations, ensuring accessibility for the growing number of electric vehicles in Dubai — estimated at more than 40,000.

The initiative supports Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan and broader sustainability goals, marking a decisive step toward expanding the city’s EV infrastructure.

Phased Rollout of Charging Network

In phase one, 20 charging stations will be installed in some of Dubai’s busiest areas. Over the following 12 months, the program will expand to deliver 200 public and private charging points.

The service will be integrated with Parkin’s mobile app, allowing users to reserve chargers, track real-time charging status, and make secure in-app payments. The stations will operate under a strict “park and charge” protocol, ensuring bays are occupied only while actively charging, to prevent misuse and overstays.

Commitment to Sustainable Mobility

Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, said:
“This 10-year partnership with charge&go reflects our commitment to delivering cleaner, greener, and tech-driven mobility solutions. By working with e&, we can leverage global expertise and advanced services to meet the needs of our digitally savvy customers while supporting Dubai’s transformation into a sustainable and future-ready city.”

Muammar Al Rukhaimi, CEO of Etisalat Services Holding, added:
“Dubai is rewriting the playbook on how cities can embrace sustainability at scale. This rollout makes green mobility more accessible, combining fast charging technology with a superior customer experience, while reinforcing our mission to deliver impactful, real-world solutions.”

Building on Previous Collaboration

Parkin, which operates around 212,000 paid parking spaces in Dubai, first signed an MoU with charge&go at GITEX 2024, the world’s largest technology and startup exhibition. This new initiative expands on that collaboration, combining innovative EV charging solutions with Parkin’s extensive parking infrastructure to enhance sustainable mobility across the city.
